Advocacy and Outreach Task Force
This group will advocate and lobby with public officials to allocate more funding and resources to early childhood efforts and family/caregiver supports. Additionally, state and federal level support could be sought, as well as local community member support. Members of this task force address (though are not limited to) to the following strategies:

Make early childhood care and education a community priority by creating a public outreach and communications campaign.
PYC Policy Priorities
PYC as a coalition aims to adopt legislative and policy priorities each year for the early learning and family support fields (prenatal through third grade) that member organizations and individuals collectively support and advocate for to local and regional policy makers, as well as the Washington State Legislature.
This is an annual opportunity so potential priorities for this year can also be reconsidered for future years.
We hope to focus together on priorities that serve the greatest needs and have the largest impact for the early learning field and the children and families our programs serve.
