Partners for Young Children
in Island County

Our coalition partners include providers from private, non-profit, government agencies and service organizations engaged in early learning and family support services to island residents with children prenatal through third grade. Our coalition has, for over ten years, been a voice for our youngest learners by leading data driven advocacy efforts and promoting public policy at the local, regional, and state levels that gives our families a strong healthy start in life.

Through PYC, Island County organizations and individuals come together to achieve the vision that all children thrive in nurturing relationships and healthy families. Together, partners are cultivating community action to strengthen Island County families.

PYC is led by a steering committee with staffing support from Whidbey Community Foundation.
